Location, location, location. Those are the top keywords when it comes to real estate. But also of vast importance that many people overlook or underestimate the value of is the appearance of the real estate signs that are placed on the front lawn of the houses and properties for sale. Just as a well manicured lawn and an attractive flowerbed improve the perceived value of a home, even though you can always grow your own flowers and grow a good lawn on the cheap after buying a house, the appearance of the sign advertising the sale of the property is a vital sales tool.
Thinking back to when I was house hunting, and even today, years later, the appearance of the real estate signs is often your first impression of the home itself. For me at least, it catches my eye before the house or property itself does, and if the sign looks weather beaten or cheap, or worse yet, is hanging askew, it leaves me with an immediate distaste. Yes, I'm that impressionable, and I think a lot of people are as well.

Consider custom real estate signs, of which there are many fine makers of. A custom sign isn't the whole answer, but it is a relatively small investment that can lend a positive factor to the overall sales picture.
